Just a Little Embarrassed
So, today I've had two slightly embarrassing things happen within 20 min. of each other. I am self employed so most things I do would be embarrassing if people were around....but since 95% of the time I am by my lonesome....well, not so embarrassing. Except for today, of course.
Embarrassing moment #1: Lady enters office/warehouse, wants to buy product from me. Complete transaction and we're chattin it up when my iPod Nano starts singing "Christmas Time For My Penis" by the Vandals. I hurdle many objects while sprinting to turn Nano off before lonely, cat lady realized what lyrics are saying. I turn around after pausing Nano and lonely, cat lady is pretty much appalled and can't get out the door fast enough. I don't know what to say to her. Do I apologize or do I act like nothing happened? I act like nothing happened and say "thanks, nice meeting you. Make sure to tell your friends and family about us." Are you kidding me? Do you really think she's gonna tell anyone about us after hearing "Christmas Time For My Penis"? Most likely not. Damn that Bubba for downloading The Vandals onto my Nano!!
Embarrassing moment #2: Approx. 10-15min. after lonely, cat lady leaves I get the poo urge (thank you very much chinese herbs!). So, I go to the potty to relieve myself. Horror of horrors....emerge from potty 5-10 min later and my neighbor is waiting for me!!! I probably turned beet red as soon as I saw him. How long was he standing there for? He has a goofy little grin on his face too, so I know he must've heard plopping! I know you can hear everything that goes on in there...it echos!! Good thing he's short, fat and has zero personality!! I would've died if it was one of the cute boys from across the way!!

hahahaha! Those have BOTH happened to me (slightly different situations and songs, but same sorts of things...). I felt your pain, but I laughed at you, too.
