Tattoo

Last night Bubba and I were watching Inked on A&E...or at least I should say it was on the TV but we were both reading. For some lame reason it took me forever to go to sleep last night (probably cuz Bubba didn't finish reading until 1:30am. As I said in a previous post, I can't fall asleep until I hear him softly snoring). Anyhow, as I was tossing and turning, I was thinking about my tattoo. I got it when I was 22, when my world was starting to crumble all around me. People often ask if I regret getting it now that I'm older and supposedly more mature. My answer is: HELL NO!!

My tattoo is on my ass. It is a kiss mark....as in "kiss my ass!" This was my attitude for the longest time! And, at times still is. To me it symbolizes a point in my life when I finally discovered who I was.....not who my parents or friends wanted me to be or thought I should be. This, of course, was a difficult process but one that was very freeing (is that even a word?). So, no, I do not regret my "trendy" tattoo. Even when as the years march on by, and my ass starts to resemble a raisin or prune, I will not regret it. Even when I get pregnant someday (hopefully), and my ass starts to spread even more and becomes a cheese factory, I will not regret it.

I would post a picture for you all but I'm scared of the weirdos! I must say its a cute picture too.....pre cellulite and chunky thighs....at one time I had hot legs, but I've always had a flat ass!!

I also have a tattoo...it's on my stomach. The flat stomach I had when I was 17 and had fake ID for 18. I couldn't even fathom my stomach changing when I was that age. When I have a baby....ugh.

However, I think I may get another one on my next birthday.

On the outside, a conservative
B!tch...on the inside...a tattooed babe!

I have had the internal "get a tatoo/don't get a tatoo" debate for quite some time...but hearing your stories of not regretting makes me kinda want one more! :o)

I have three tatoos and I don't regret them at all. They represent certain points in my life that I never want to forget.
