Whitehead

Since I'm a moron and have no clue how to scan a picture and upload it the way I want....this is the result.

I was cleaning out Mary's old room and moving stuff into my new office/guestroom. I came across all of my photos. This one (sorry, you can't see it very well....I'm a moron) is one of my favs of Bubba and I. This was taken 5 years ago...actually, almost to the day. I am the maid of honor at my BFF's (from high school) wedding. What you can't tell in the pic is that I am sooo sick. Sick enough that right after I gave the toast at the reception I ran out to puke.....and not cuz I drank too much.

I am laughing in the picture and Bubba appears to be looking at me smiling. The BFF called me when she got her pics back and said "I have the cutest picture of you and Brad. I'm gonna get it for you. You are laughing and he is looking at you with such an adoring look in his eye." Well, naturally, I couldn't wait to see the photo. When she finally gave it to me, I couldn't help but laugh. The photo is actually Bubba laughing at me!!! The real story is I had the biggest whitehead on my chin!! He just got done telling me how large and in charge it was. I was trying to cover my face with the flowers while my other hand was trying to pop the zit, but not draw too much blood. We had already taken a bazillion pictures and had about a million more to take. Great timing!!

The main reason why I love this picture so much is that this is the first night that Bubba told me he loved me. We had been dating for almost two years at this point....what can I say, I'm a patient woman!! After he said those magical words he started talking about getting married. And, the rest is history!!!
