10 More Days
10 more days and my flat ass turns 32 whopping years old!!! Generally, I don't make a big deal out of my b-day. Gimme cake and ice cream (better yet ice cream cake) and I'm a happy girl. However, when I turned 30, Bubba said I turned it into the my "30th Jubilee". I had a blast! It lasted about 3 weeks. I went to So. Cal. with some of my girlfriends and went to a day spa all day, then we had a party/BBQ, then Bubba and I stayed at a new resort right on the beach for the weekend. The weeks leading up to and after my b-day I got everything my heart desired. All I had to say was "I'm turning 30 remember" and I'd get it. That was the first time I seriously felt like a spoiled princess.
Ever since then I have to have an equally good time. Last year I did the same thing I usually do for my b-day, shopping and dinner, and it sucked! So, this year Bubba is taking me to San Francisco for the weekend. We'll get there on the 11th and leave on the 13th. I'm really excited. I love S.F.!! He even said (more like I told him and he didn't disagree) that we could go to Tiffany's and I could get my necklace I've been begging for. Its sooo cute. A starfish with a tiny diamond in the center. He's okay with that cuz then he doesn't have to pick anything out and worry if he got the right thing. I'm hoping to squeeze a massage out of him too. I actually want to do one of those "couples massage" package dealys you see at the spas. But, I don't know if he'll go for it. He is all man, nothing girly about him (we're talking hair and all ladies....back hair that is. I know, ICK!! It's not too much, but its hair! He won't wax, I tried. He let me shave it once, but he hated it. I don't even notice it now. I don't really care. Funny what love can do to a girl.). If I can talk him into that, I truly do rock!!!

I am (knock wood) hoping that you have a pregnancy for your birthday!!!
But Tiffany jewelry and a massage in San Fran would be a delightful birthday bonus!
I was supposed to go with you to San Fran. So we could shop.
My life sucks.
Happy birthday- you're going to be my age now. 32 sucks.
And my husband used to make me shave his back with an electric razor during the summer time (he wasn't even really hairy). Try it. It looks so much better.
Happy Birthday :)
