No Excuses

I've decided to come out of my hole and start blogging again. I know I've said this in the past, but I'm determined to stick with it. With all that nonsense said I'll get on with it.

Here's what has happened in my boring life since my last post:

1) Not pregnant. Are you surprised? I'm not. I finished my third round of the Clomid, ultrasound and shot of HCG in Sept. I produced 8 lovely eggs and still did not get pregnant. I had a mini breakdown. You know the ones when you're crying so hard you can't talk or even attempt to stop cuz the flow is neverending....yeah, those are fun. Bubba was great though. He just hugged me and didn't say a word. Which is a good thing cuz he would try to joke and make me laugh and I would've just got even more upset.
I took a month off from it all so I could feel human again. Let me tell you that Clomid sucks ass! My lovely "side effects" were crazy looking acne on my forehead, extreme exhaustion, vertigo, weight gain, non stop crying and to top it all of it made me sprout a beard. Luckily it was blonde but those babies got long!! So, now my aesthetician "buzzes my fuzz" cuz its UGLY!!
In Nov., we started the 2nd set of infertility bliss, which is what I call the "turkey baster" method. Its technical term is intra uterine insemination. Basically, I take the Clomid, get my ultrasound and HCG shot on day 13 of my cycle. On day 14 Brad gets to jizz in a cup and I have 30 min. to get to my MD's office with said jizz so they can spin those suckers down, put them in a cathetar type thingy, and then they insert the cath up in my uterus and squirt the spermies right in there. This just bypasses the cervical mucous etc etc. They do this when they think the patient may have "hostile cervical mucous". So I diagnosed myself as being a bitch inside and out. However, this didn't even work. But, I didn't have a breakdown so that was all good. I was suppose to go tomorrow and Fri to repeat the above but my MD's office just called and cancelled. My insurance won't pay for it again, so now they are trying to get approval to refer me to some other specialist. Are you all jealous? Do you want to be me?
2) The BIL moved out!! Can I tell you how excited I am? It's been about 2 months and I must say its been nice to be all by our lonesomes again. We still see him a couple of times a week but I can deal with that.
3) In Oct. Bubba and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary. Whaooie for us!! We went to Carmel for the weekend and had a lovely time.
4) Bubba is going to start his own business in Feb or March and I am going to go back to school to get my RN. We're excited.
5) We painted the inside of our house and Bubba retiled the entry way and fireplace. Now it is slate instead of nasty grey tile. It looks really good. All we have to do to make it look done is put the base boards back on.

There is more but these are just the ones that stick out in my head the most.
