6 Years
Tomorrow is officially our six year anniversary! I can't believe its been that long....seems like a lot longer. Not in a bad way either. Some days it seems like forever and other days it feels like we just got married. Does that make sense? I wonder if I ever had a life before I met Brad, it seems like he is all I have ever known. Anyhow, I wanted to just put it out in cyber space 6 of the reasons why I love my Bubba. He never reads my blog so I can be as sappy as I want. Otherwise, it would embarrass him that I could be so sappy. So, if you're not up for ultra-sap click away now.#1- He's my biggest fan
#2- He loves me for who I am (which is amazing)
#3- He loves it that I think I'm the funniest person I know. Because I AM!!
#4- My nieces and nephews love him more than they love me (You may be thinking "why would she love that?" Well, I think that the majority of young kids have a built in bull-shit detector and creepy meter. They can tell when someone just isn't right for some reason. From the moment our nieces and nephews met Bubba they instantly fell head-over-heels-in-love with him. I love seeing the bond that Bubba and my Simon have. I am jealous of it but I secretly love it....shhh, don't tell him.)
#5- He doesn't think my family is as crazy as I think they are
#6- I know where I stand with him at all times.....everyone knows where they stand with him.
I could go on and on but I'll spare you all. Through the past five years of trying to get pregnant, the last two being the absolute hardest, I have realized that he is the one decision in my life that I absolutely know, without a doubt, that I got right. I never question that decision even when we are in an argument and he's not my favorite person. I often come back to this when I have my times when I think maybe we just aren't suppose to be parents. I know that if it were just Bubba and I for the rest of our lives, I would be happy with that.

You were so pretty on your wedding day! (And I'm so happy that you're so happy still!) Congratulations on your happy, wonderful marriage!
I can't believe YOU, queen of not expressing feelings, typed 6 reasons why you love him. That blew me away! But really funny though. The bull-shit and creepy meter was my favorite. Oh and that he doesn't think our family is crazy. YES he does!! He tells me I am crazy all the time.
I know that you and Kelly (and Meppy) are sisters, but I didn't realize just how much you and Kelly look alike. You are all so damn cute it's kind of obnoxious.
I'm so glad that you're so happily married, and that (sappy or not) you're still able to think of the reasons why you love your bubba!
Here's to 60 more years just as good as the first 6, laughing at each other as you get old and your bodies fall apart!
